In Loving Memory of Tuyet Dang
Tuyet Dang, devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025. Born in Vietnam, Tuyet was a woman of warmth, generosity, and quiet strength—her kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Known for her unwavering resilience, her extraordinary cooking, and, above all, her deep devotion to family, Tuyet’s life was a testament to love and perseverance. In 1975, she courageously immigrated to the United States with her late husband, Tuyen, and their six children. They made their home in Western Springs, a suburb of Chicago, where Tuyet nurtured a household filled with love, tradition, and unwavering support.
Tuyet is survived by her siblings: Miễn, Đượm, and Hạnh; her children: Ann (Michael), Dianna (Tom), Sue, Matt (Shara), John, and Tom; and her beloved grandchildren: Katie, Emma (Neal), Brandon, Karsen (Lucas), Joseph, Andrew, Christopher, Jayden, and Mason. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Mass celebrating Tuyet’s life will be held at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs on Tuesday, June 24th at 11am. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network, supporting a cause that reflects her generous spirit.
