Lynn will be missed every Friday at the salon She was a very special and kind lady
I received a letter from Joan Bourdage today telling me of Lynn’s passing. Thanks. I was librarian at Roy School in Northlake for 5 years. There were several of us single gals who did activities on weekends. I got married in 1971 but we always kept in touch at Christmas. I’m so sorry for your loss. Will keep you in my prayers on Thursday at noon.
I knew Lynn for over 40 years. She was smart, funny and very caring. She was a devoted daughter ti
her mother for many years. I styled Lynn’s hair for all those years for that was how we met. We had great conversations about everything but mostly about politics. My husband and I moved to Santa Fe almost 9 years ago but Lynn and I kept in touch either through notes or phone calls. She will be mussed. Prayers to her sister-in-law and nephew whom she adored.
What a loss of an excellent teacher and loyal friend! Lynn and I met in 1971 when I began teaching with her. We shared many fun times and special teacher events. Our friendship continued after I stopped teaching; we shared many lunches in the Oakbrook area and trips to Indiana to visit another mutual teacher friend.
Lynn was kind and loving and had an excellent memory; I was always amazed by her recall of dates and events!
She will be missed by all.
Rest in peace, dear Lynn, till we meet again.
