Robert Lee Lawler, age 83, of Willowbrook. Beloved husband of Jeanne for 26 years. Loving father of Keith (Lyrka) Lawler and second father of Dee (Dave) McCready, Lee (Bob) Fabling, Tom (Cheryl) Nuckles, Lynn Nuckles, Kathleen Gallagher and Nancy (Bill Sider) Gallagher. He will be missed by his grandchildren and extended grandchildren. Dear brother of Lewis, the late Don, the late Thomas and the late Jim. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Saturday July 10th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where a funeral service will be held 6 p.m. that evening. Interment private. Good memories of working for Bob in operations many years ago at Corn Products, just after Argo II startup. There were some tough times, but we worked together as a team to keep things going and make improvements. Later enjoyed hearing stories from his many travels to different plants around the world. My condolences to the family at this sad time.
