  6. Dear Mrs. Kuhn’s family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Kuhn was one of the most influential teachers of my life. I had the honor and privilege of reconnecting with her a few years ago. We had the chance to have a few lunches at JC George’s, and I took her to get some crossword puzzles at the Dollar Store. I’m forever grateful to have learned from her, to have reconnected with her, and to know she isn’t suffering. I hope your family can find comfort knowing she is at peace.

  17. My mother and Dory (we always spelled it without the extra “e”) have been friends since they were 15 years old and when I was born Dory became my Godmother. As a young kid, I didn’t understand the implications of that title so she was Auntie Dory to me. Dory was always very kind and supportive. She showed me that not all family is related by blood. My parents could have chosen a better person to fill that role of Godmother. I’m miss her dearly and extend my deepest condolences to the Kuhn family.
