Allen ‘Al’ S. Turoski, Retired Chicago Police Officer; age 81, formerly of Willow Springs, IL; loving father of Beth Koehn, Pamela (Jeffrey) McGregor, & Candace Turoski; proud grandfather of Michael & Zachary Van Antwerpen and Nicholas Koehn; dear brother of the late Sharon (née Turoski) Ahlgren; loving uncle of Scott Marquardt & his son Max, Kurt (Jennifer) Marquardt & their daughter Elle; dear cousin & friend of many, he will be dearly missed. Visitation 3 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 24 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A private funeral service and burial will take place the following day.   1. Goodbye my friend.. I will miss you more then you will ever know ..i will forever remember the talks on the front and back decks of your house.. And I will plant a tomato 🍎plant in your memory every year.. I miss you so much.. Goodbye

    1. Chucky you were so loved and needed by Al. Many times we talked about how he couldnt have done things without you. I remember all the talks on front porch and making lunches on the back for you on your lunch breaks. Lol good times Chuck….we will all see him again one day……Make it Cherry Tomatoes.

  2. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My dad (Pat Fanella) was always very fond of Al, and I remember him coming to our house for parties and gatherings when I was little. He was the life of the party with his contagious, boisterous laugh and smiling eyes. My sympathies to all of you at this difficult time.

    1. So true Jennifer. I feel Al,s spirit everywhere. And I see Sharon welcoming her brother. With mom and dad right with her. All their smiles.
      I’m so sorry for our loss but me and Al truly believed we are all spiritual beings having a a physical experience. Our souls move on. This belief gives me strenghth. May my man “T” rest in HEAVEN with God watching down. GOD BLESS US ALL. It was an honor to be loved by him. Im so Glad Elle got to experience Oshkosh with Al and her friend Sophie and you guys. The Eulogy card looks like one of kurts picture s. Im pretending he and Al are flying high. Love you guys . Take care.
