Joyce C. Gier, 88, of Western Springs, IL; beloved wife for 53 years of the late Louis H. Gier; loving mother of Jonathan Louis Gier; daughter of the late Cecelia and Henry Losinski. Joyce was a devoted wife and mother, and a long-time member of the Choir at St. John of the Cross in Western Springs. A memorial Mass will take place Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9:45am at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Princeton, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John of the Cross music ministry are appreciated.
