  4. We always had such a good time when we we’re with Wes, especially in the north woods. We are there now and will be sure to raise our glasses to him at sunset tonight. RIP Wes, I’m sure Mary Jean is happy you arrived to be with her. Jim & Liz Covey

  5. Dear loved ones of Gael,
My younger sister Jean just wrote me an email sharing with me the news of Gael’s passing. I am sorry for you loss and wish you all strength and courage to continue on. I have so many wonderful memories of being at your home on Franklin avenue,- I loved your house and can remember your Mom fixing it up, putting up new wall paper in the dining area, sitting in the kitchen eating cookies. The wonderful party your family hosted in your back yard on my parents’ 50th wedding aniversary. You Dad always seemed to me so smart and stately as he walked past the house on his way to the trainstation with his briefcase in hand. He even caught me once on that very same train going to Chicago to take part in a demonstration. I was a hight school kid and had skipped school for the day. But as I can recall he didn’t tell on me! I even remember the story of the first time I knocked at your door after your parents moved into the neighborhood!
You parents were dear friends to my family and you all contributed to making my life growing up in Western Springs a special neighborhood experience. You Mom and Dad always made me feel right at home! Now your Dad is really at home, resting in the arms of the divine. I am so grateful he played a role in my life and helped to make it so blessed. Many blessings to you all! Katie Landbeck (now in Germany)

  6. Many great memories from our Amoco days working together putting up with the corporate world. The global travel together reviewing the aircraft operations from Egypt to Burma, exciting
but exhausting. The fun times on our pheasant hunt trips challenging who was the best shot. The fun times on the Trout Lake golf links winning a dollar for the match and of course bragging rights.
    Great memories ole pal!

    Blue skies & tailwinds????✈️
    Al
