Mark H. Vogt
Mark H. Vogt “the chicken man” age 65, of Countryside. Former owner of Lyons Poultry Co., passed away on April 1, 2017 at Sunrise of Willowbrook with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Lucy Vogt, his loving children Vicki Rousis, Krystal Vogt and Heather Vogt, his sister Dyann (Kit) Kimes, brother Paul (Valerie) Vogt, father-in-law Les Nagy Sr., Mother-in-law Karen Nagy and brother-in-law Les Nagy Jr. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Mark is preceded in death by his loving parents Hugo Rutherford and Frances Vogt. Mark loved to build “hot rods” and was an avid NHRA drag racing fan. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 6, from 3 until 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Friday, April 7, with prayers to begin at 9:15am from the funeral home and proceed to St. Cletus Church in LaGrange for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge Drive, Suite 100, Lombard, IL 60148 or Les Turner ALS Foundation, Ltd., 5550 W. I was saddened to hear that Mark passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I will always remember our trips to visit and He will always be remembered for his kind and thoughtful manor. He will be missed.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of mark. I will contact his friend Jimmy Sims from school days and let him know. I know he will be shocked. James and I were talking a couple of years ago about mark and how was he doing. I told him I saw him a few years back driving his work truck but that’s it. I took this flyer off and I will also send it to James. I went to school with Paul.
