Elizabeth Louise Williams Wulff,  age 89, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2016. Her dear husband of 59 years Capt. Alden Thayer “Bud” Wulff and her Williams family predeceased  “Betty”.  Mrs. Wulff was born on April 6, 1926 in Evanston, IL where in 1948 she graduated from Northwestern University Speech School and was Wildcat Council President.  Betty lived 60 years in Hinsdale where she joined the E. Covenant Church, Historical Society,  DAR (former Regent), Garden Study Club, Pi Beta Phi Alums (past President), Lyric Opera, Art Institute, Navy  Wives, Hinsdale Golf Club (Sr. trophy) and farm related activities.  She led a study group for which friends called her ‘Bible Betty’.  Always beautiful and elegant, she wore hats and gloves out, even with her personal assistant of 6 years, Myrna.   Mrs. Wulff is survived by her loving children: Capt.  Bob (Monica) Wulff , Bill Wulff, and Betty Ann (Guy) Guidry and cherished grandchildren Lt. Beau Guidry, Stuart Guidry, and Cali Wulff.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 27, from 10:30am until time of an 11am Service at Evangelical Covenant Church of Hinsdale, 412 S. Garfield St., Hinsdale. Interment  will be at 11am on Thursday, January 28, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Newman, IL  in Douglas County overlooking the Wulff’s beloved  Centennial farm.
