Barb Prusak-SearsBarbara Francesca Prusak-Sears, 63, of Lindenhurst.  Beloved wife of David Sears.  Loving daughter of Edith and the late Ludwik Prusak.  Devoted sister of Raymond Prusak.  Fond sister-in-law of Mary (James) Sears Wilburn, Donald (Debra) Sears and Kathryn (Michael) Farrell.  Dear aunt of many.  Visitation 3 to 9pm Friday, Oct. 2nd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside where Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, Oct. 3rd.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Best Friends Animal Society at http://bestfriends.org/donate/gifts-and-e-cards appreciated.  Barb fought a courageous battle with cancer.  At age 13, she was a candystriper at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago, starting herself toward a 32-year nursing career. She was an organ transplant nurse with the Regional Organ Bank of Illinois (R.O.B.I.), and then went on to become an E.
