Before opening the Suzanne’s Hallmark in 1983, Sue owned and operated a very popular beauty salon in the South Shore area of Chicago.

Sue was married to the late William Selig.  When Bill passed away in 1982, Sue focused all of her energy on her mother Anne, her three brothers, her 7 nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

Sue was born in 1943 to Henry and Anne Kapral and lived on the Southside of Chicago until 1972.

Sue was a devoted sister to her brothers Donald (Linda) Kapral & their children Natalie,(Jeff) Baur, Neelie (Chuck) O’Connor and Nicholas (Jenn) Kapral, the late Dennis (Paula) Kapral and their children Kristin “Kiki” and Kelsey(Brandon)  Murphy,  Gary (Janice) Kapral and their children Troy and Shane (Jenna) Kapral.

  2. Sue was a much-beloved Lindblom classmate and friend to me and my wife, Donna. Her dinner parties were legendary. Sue never stopped giving of herself to others, even suffering with her own illnesses. Her warm smile and hugs will be missed by her family and friends. May God hold her in the palm of His hand, ready to greet us when we all meet again.

  3. Dear Kapral Family Friends,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. Sue was such a fantastic person that we all loved. Even though we did not see each other NEAR enough I did and always will think of her as a good friend. I will miss her. I regret that I was out of town for the service. One big hug from the Walters to you all. All the best, Leslie
