Paul F. Lucas, age 79, loving husband and best friend of Marian, nee Dold, for 57 years. Cherished father of Stephen (Erin) Lucas, Elizabeth (Daniel) Ritzenthaler, Rosemary (Jerry) Kolman, Mark Lucas, Katherine (William) Medlock, James (Kathy) Lucas, Timothy (Melissa) Lucas and Jeanne (Jack) Piech. Grandfather of Dana, Matthew, Vicky, Bill, Maggie, Megan, Erin, Kelly, Austin, Collette, Tim, Jake, Caleb, Nate, Kitty, Max, Faith, Elijah, Bruce, Molly, Preston, Reka, Ellie, Thomas, Gracie, Rita, Sarah and Lucas. Brother of Rosemary Lucas, Sr. Kathleen Lucas C.S.J. and the late Daniel (late Veronica) Lucas. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation 3-9pm Tuesday July 7 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 9:15am Wednesday July 8 from the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Church for Mass at 10am. He was a mentor & great friend to me during my years working with him and even after I moved away.
Thank you for letting me share time with your family and the open invitation into your home.
We will miss seeing your dad at family parties. Remembering times spent with him, we appreciate how friendly he was, always inquiring about what was going on in all our lives. We always enjoyed talking with him. He raised a wonderful family. We wish you our deepest condolences. We love you all.
