  1. David was a cool guy! I was honored to give him an airplane ride over Castle Rock Lake 2 years ago and seeing him smile, was like a giving a child their first ride. He even flew some of the time and liked seeing his cabin from above. Thanks for letting me meet David.

    1. The airplane ride was a thrill of a lifetime for Dave! Seeing his lake house from the air and letting him fly the plane was a awesome experience! Thank you remembering him.

  2. There are no words in all vocabulary to say how sad it is to lose your mate. We have many fond memories of times spent with you, Dave and the whole gang. Watching our kids grow, the fine lines forming on our brow. You had a great life with your beloved, taken away too soon, but with you long enough to have so many happy thoughts. A part of him will forever be in your heart, and in those who were fortunate enough to not only know him, but to have loved him.

  3. Please accept our condolences. Dave was always the most cheerful man I have ever known. Grace, you and Dave a long life together, remember the good times. Dave is now with our Moms to look over us. May he rest in peace.
Our love to all of you.

  4. So sorry about Big Dave’s passing. He was honorary family to me in our neighborhood full of close friends and family. Just think of the fun and games that’s going on in heaven now with the family and neighbors that have passed on–all far too soon! Sending my love long-distance to everyone.
