Dorothy MoreschiDorothy Moreschi (nee Picchetti), a long-time resident of Westchester and recently of LaGrange Park, passed away on Feb. 10, 2015. She was born July 18, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Atillio and Marina Picchetti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rina and brother, James. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Robert Moreschi; children Laura (Joseph) D’Agostino, Elaine (Leonard) Stejskal, and Robert (Linda) Moreschi; sister Elia Picchetti; grandchildren Kristine, Jeffrey, Claire, and Lily; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Though her greatest passion in life was taking care of her family, she worked for many years for the Westchester Public School system and for Snow Manufacturing of Bellwood. A Memorial Mass will take place at 10am on Saturday, March 14 at the Congregation of St. Joseph Chapel, 1515 W. Ogden Ave. in LaGrange Park. Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside. The family would like to thank the staff of Bethlehem Woods, BrightStar, Adventist St. Thomas Hospice, Dr. Ken Nelson, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Prairie Medical Group in Westchester for all their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The American Legion, Attn: Karen Henry, 2720 E. Lincoln St., Bloomington, IL 61704, in memo line “Gift to Yanks”.
