Michael Terence Murray, born December 5, 1930, in Detroit, MI, at rest November 16, 2014 in La Grange Park. Formerly of Lake Forest, where he was an active parishioner for 25 years at Church of St. Mary.  Beloved husband for 52 years of Doris (née Feeney). Loving father of Anne (Sean) McDermott and Molly, proud papa of Madeline, Abigail, Terry and Patrick. Fond brother of the late Joseph, late Rosemary Wesenberg (David), and Patrick (Christine). Attended Gesu School and Catholic Central High School in Detroit, graduating from the University of Detroit (B.S) and the University of Michigan (M.B.A.). Served as an Officer in US Navy, on active duty for 3 years, and then as reserve Officer, retiring as Commander after 20 years.  Employed at Continental Bank in Chicago, Robert W. Baird in Milwaukee and retired as partner at Loomis Sayles in Chicago in 1992. He took great pride in his work assisting both individuals and groups with their retirement investments.  Terry’s greatest joy was his family first and always. He spent many happy summers at his residence in Glen Arbor, MI. Terry also felt very strongly about his Irish roots, with his family emigrating to the United States from County Mayo, Ireland, and settling in the St. Ignace/ Mackinac Island area of Michigan. He enjoyed visiting Ireland and traced his family to the village of Upper Skirdagh, Ireland.  Visitation 4-8pm Friday Nov. 21 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.  Prayers 9:15am Saturday Nov. 22 from the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Church for Mass at 10am.  Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Memorials to Misericordia, 6300 N.
