Betty Jane (Love) Zapf, age 93, passed away peacefully on September 9 surrounded by her loving children. Betty was born May 21, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Herman and Freda (Pahnke) Love. On February 14, 1942 she married Richard S. Zapf (deceased) in Chicago, IL. She is also preceded in death by two children, Carole Ann and Michael Joseph. Surviving are children Lea Martin, Patricia (Julius) Rausch, Nancy (William) Seidler, Eileen (Bobby) Leathers, Richard (Debra) Zapf, Marie (Colin) Taylor, and David (Marie) Zapf. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday, September 12, from 3 to 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Prayers Saturday, September 13, 9:30am from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Mass 10am. Interment Private.
