Theodore Edward Pannkoke,  age 84, retired professional engineer and member of ASHRAE and resident of Bethlehem Woods Retirement Community, formerly of North Brainard Ave., LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Hess); devoted father of  Theodore William (Melissa Elizabeth) and Frederick Paul (Kathrin) Pannkoke;  cherished grandfather of Oscar and Carl;. Ted was an avid reader and collector of books, train buff, fisherman, photographer and world traveler.  Visitation Monday, April 21, from 4 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.  In-state  9am Tuesday, April 22, until time of funeral service, 10am at St. John’s Lutheran Church,  47^th &  Brainard  Ave., LaGrange.  Interment Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park, In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
