  1. Jim was a great childhood friend. So many great memories of playing pool in his basement to raise money for charity. Playing kick the can with all the kids in the neighborhood. I was blessed to call Jim my friend.

  2. Jim was a great friend to me when I moved to the Denver Capital Hill area. He would cook me up what ever I wanted on Sunday mornings as a “special” at FBC International. A great memory was seeing the last Denver run of the Grateful Dead shows together. I really enjoyed trading concert tapes with him. I will always remember him riding his junker bike “The Red Rooster” and then the “Blue Flame” once someone stole the Rooster. I still have the cookbook he wrote “Harrington Stew” in tribute to his mother. A great memory of Jim was when he was doing a cooking show on a local Denver channel and you can hear him singing “Sugaree” while cooking. I wish I would have found out about Jim sooner and I would have sent message to his family. Go well Jim. I do and will miss you.
